Introducing: Calm Face Lotion
At Wildcraft, we are constantly working to produce luxury skincare that is 100% natural, affordable, minimalist and good for everyone. We are always researching, experimenting and formulating, using the freshest of plant-based ingredients that are both nourishing and effective. And so with all of this in mind, and realizing that our two existing and best selling face creams (Bergamot Rose and Geranium Orange Blossom) are on the richer side, we set out to create a new, lightweight face lotion to add to our growing line – and your daily routine!
What does it take to get a beauty product into your hot little hands? It takes A LOT. First comes the research – we research everything from where to find the best ingredients that are organic and of the highest quality but also within an affordable range. We research which ingredients work for which skin types, which ingredients work well together and which ingredients don’t. Once we have a general idea of what we’re working with, it’s time to play! And by play, we mean trial and error and testing, testing, testing. Everything is small batch and handcrafted in our studio so we have full control over what’s going into each and every product we make. We test for consistency, effectiveness, scent profiles and shelf life. We set up trials and conduct surveys and once we’ve gathered that information, we do it all over again.
Once we are completely satisfied, it’s on to packaging and labelling. Because this face lotion is lighter than the other two, we decided to go with a pump applicator and after much deliberation (and even more testing), our lotion found a home and a name.
It’s here! We are so excited to launch our Calm Face Lotion, and we have to admit that we’re in love. This lotion is perfect in so many ways: it works as a lightweight day cream, is fabulous as a primer under makeup, it soothes, softens and balances sensitive and acneic skin (thanks to chamomile flower water) and nourishes and brightens all skin types while improving elasticity and helping to reduce fine lines (we’re talking to you, lavender and frankincense). Apricot oil contains Vitamin A, which stimulates cell and collagen production and protects against UV damage, making it great for mature and sensitive skin. Plus, its silky, matte finish is refreshing and fast absorbing. Oh, and did we mention that it smells divine?
